Restaurant Review [A Video Review]

Hello^^

Today, I an going to analyze a video about a restaurant following the given questions by teacher and share the review with you! The video that was assigned to me was "Step Inside Be Our Guest Restaurant."


-What is focused on in the review?
The video focuses on a place and a service. The restaurant is in Walt Disney World and located in a base of Beast's castle inspired from the Disney movie "A Beauty and A Beast," so guests are able to enjoy the atmosphere and feel like in a movie world. Also, the restaurant is the first quick-service restaurant in Walt Disney World. It offers great food fast.


-How doest it differ from the written review in presentation and content? what features does it have in common with it?
The visual review is recommendation more than review. While, in the written review, it is written contrast between the restaurant present day and past. Both of them are reviewed from positive view.


-Is the review neutral or partisan?
I think the review is very positive. As I said above the question, this review is more like recommendation. The reviewer are telling only positive things.


-Are chefs, owners, or managers, or restaurant staff featured in the video?
They are not featured, but it is possible to see how the restaurant staff look like in the video. They are wearing white shirt blouse and blue vest.


-What is revealed about the culture?
The food is French-inspired menu such as crock monsieur. Also, there are chandler, many paintings, stained glasses and statues of knight in a restaurant. I think they are influenced middle-aged European style.


-Notice the voice of speakers have a pleasing emphasis on certain words and phrases. How does that affect your understanding and enjoyment of it?
The word Magical is often used in the video. In the restaurant, when customers order the meal, they need to use a devise which looks like a button called Magical Rose. Customers can enjoy the meal just putting a button, which is super easy and like a Magic.

I want to visit this restaurant and feel like being a part of the movie!!
